The Foundation Appraisers Coalition of Texas, Inc. (FACT) was organized in 1991 to represent the interests of Texas real estate appraisers. The purpose of FACT is to monitor and affect the regulation of the appraisal profession through legislation, education and communication. In Austin, FACT is always there and is representing the interests of Texas appraisers with the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor and the Speaker of the House; with Senators and Representatives; and with the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board. Texas appraisers do have a voice and that voice is FACT.
